The Trust for Public Land made a formal announcement at the Board of Selectman meeting that the fundraising goal of $2.75 million has been reached.

If you pledged, send in your check now – your commitment is part of the $2.75 million!

 

This goal was reached by the combined efforts of many, including the tireless work of a group of dedicated alumnae and former trustees.  THANK YOU!!

 

What’s next?

 

1.  The Wednesday meeting for Keep the Woods this week is POSTPONED.

 

2.  Remember that any additional monies raised WILL GO TOWARD THE LAND!  Especially support “Buy a Painting – Keep the Woods” a fine art sale organized by an Ethel Walker alumna.  10% of all proceeds will be donated.  http://www.keepthewoods.org/art.php

 

3.  Keep your eyes on your email for information about a CELELBRATION and the next big Keep the Woods meeting, most likely in May.
