If you are available, please attend a press conference Thursday, April 5^th, 11AM at The Mill, on Tunxis Road in Tariffville.  Congressman Chris Murphy will discuss his work to increase funding for the Wild & Scenic River Program (http://www.rivers.gov/), his legislation to designate the Metacomet Monadnock Mattabesett Trail the New England National Scenic Trail (http://www.mmmtrail.org), and his new appointment as the Chairman of the Open Space Caucus of the 110^th Congress.

 

Congressman Murphy is very aware of the importance of the Ethel Walker property and will be instrumental in identifying federal monies for important open space projects.  Even if you can’t attend, let him hear from you!
