Please join Simsbury resident Phyllis Freeman for a guided AMC hike in the Ethel Walker Woods.  AMC members come from all over the state, so it will be chance to meet new people.  

 

No fee – just show up, and bring your own water and snacks.  Meet at 10 AM, Town Forest parking lot.

July 3, 2007, Hike on the Ethel Walker Property:
C 3 C: Lovely wooded trails and dirt roads. Meet at
the Town Forest Park located in Simsbury Ct. at 10:00
a.m. Directions: Take Rt# 185 into Simsbury, at the
int. with Rts. l0/202 & 185 turn right (north) onto
Rt. 10. At 2nd light (0.2) miles turn left onto
Stratton Brook Rd. @ l.l miles cross Bushy Hill Rd.
and continue on Stratton Brook for a total of l.7
miles. Turn left onto Town Forest Rd. for 0.7 miles.
Parking lot is on right. Rain cancels: Leader Phyllis
