Greetings!
As we approach Earth Day (April
22nd) we acknowledge that our relationship to the earth
is relevant to economics, ethics, education – and the environment!
Events below are free and open to the
public.
1. The Power of
Story in Strengthening Conservation
Peter Forbes, Executive Director, Center for Whole Communities, Knoll Farm, VT
Monday, April 21 at 4:00 pm
Author, photographer, farmer, and conservationist Peter Forbes will tell
stories of the profound relationship between people and the land in this
country. Drawing on his own experience working around the world, Peter will
share the power of language and story as a force in creating a stronger land
ethic in our culture and how individual and community relationships with the
land can become the seeds for broader social change.
2. The Town of

Banquet/Social was a great success. FVTU sent a note to thank all the KTW
members who attended and “wasn't it great to see the "hot" KTW
table with multiple prize winners”.!! Looking forward to it again next
year!
