Congratulations to Helen Peterson, named a Simsbury Hometown Hero 2008. 

This is a richly deserved award acknowledging all the work Helen has done, including helping to preserve the Ethel Walker Woods of Simsbury.  Come congratulate her at the Board of Selectman meeting on 6/23 (see below). 

 

KTW members also received some regional recognition!  

Diane Nash and I received the Annette and Kingsbury Browne Volunteer Conservationist of the Year Award from the Trust for Public Land.  There were nominees from around New England, and this is a major honor for this project to be recognized.
