Greetings!
The Annual Report from the CT Council on Environmental
Quality (CEQ) is available:
http://www.ct.gov/ceq/cwp/view.asp?a=986&q=418076
This report has a wealth of detailed but easy to read
information about our air and water quality, farmland and open space,
recycling, public transportation, and more.
This week:
Don't miss the next "Gifford's Green Conversation"
Named in honor of Simsbury's own Gifford Pinchot (1st Chief
of the U.S. Forest Service), these forums address key environmental issues,
providing overviews of specific green initiatives and "conversations"
on how the town can become more "green."
